Help Ke Ea Hawaii & Mana Maoli Recover From Theft
Tax deductible
Aloha kākou. We were saddened to wake up to the news that there was yet another theft at Hālau Kū Māna Public Charter School. The incident happened sometime between the evening of April 26 and the morning of April 27 at their campus in Makiki.
The items stolen include - 8 track audio mixer, 2 MacBooks, a medical bag, iPod with a complete catalog, Mana Mele instruments (the picture above is a vintage guitar which is the most valuable instrument taken), and a projector.
Damage - Unfortunately, Meleana, our solar-powered mobile studio, was on campus, and the rear window was shattered in an attempted break-in (also pictured). While the theft attempt failed, replacing the window will be costly and affects our ability to do end-of-year recordings at our partner schools.
We humbly ask for your kōkua in any of the following ways -
1) Any information that might help us retrieve the stolen items.
1) Any information that might help us retrieve the stolen items.
2) Any donations to help replace stolen items and repair damage.

As most stolen items belonged to Ke Ea Hawai’i and Mana Maoli (all but the projector), and HKM cannot solicit monies via GoFundMe, donations will be split between Ke Ea Hawai’i and Mana Maoli.
Please share with your network and keep your eyes open! Alert us, as well as the police, if you know anything about this incident!
